A hidden gem. It's in one of the best locations in Amsterdam for getting around. There's a great bar and restaurant attached, and the breakfast is perfect. The hotel is boutique and has a great ambiance with friendly staff. Rooms are large, tidy, clean, and well kept with little extra things like a bluetooth speaker making all the difference. Great dining options all around, public transport at Spui (Metro) and light rail is only a minute or two walk away. Value for money compared to other bigger hotel names around here this is easily one of the best hotels in Amsterdam, and I've stayed at many...until I found Hotel V, this will be my regular from here on in.

Overall the hotel was very good. Maybe a bit pricy, but we had a large room and the facilities are very good. Also the hotel is in an excellent central location. Our room was quiet (we were not overlooking the steeet, but even when people in neighbouring rooms came back in the early hours you could only hear very muffled sounds from the corridor and it wouldn't have woken me up if I hadn't already been awake). The beds were very big and comfortable. There was free bottled water and a coffee machine in the room. The shower was powerful and there was plenty of water. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.

My mum and I stayed at this hotel for her birthday and it was absolutely amazing! They set the room up with some balloons for her. The rooms were spotless and beautifully decorated. We didn't want our room cleaned one of the mornings and the cleaners left us a bag with fresh towels, toiletries and toilet rolls etc. the staff were so welcoming and helpful. The location was absolutely perfect too. There isn't a single thing we could fault about this hotel and have recommended this to our friends and family already. We will definitely stay again if we come back to Amsterdam.

The Room was beautiful and the bathroom was super clean and nicely detailed and spaciously organized. The location was in the perfect spot for stepping outside and going for a walk passed the shops and some museums. It was a bit of a walk to the more southern part of Amsterdam where the Van Gogh museum was and all the other beautiful places were but overall the hotel was in a good spot. Unfortunately the kitchen was closed due to renovation so we didn't get to enjoy the food but im sure it would have been amazing!

This was a trip of a lifetime for me to celebrate my 70th birthday with my 2 sons and we couldn’t have chosen a more perfect place to stay! The staff were warm and welcoming and accommodating in every way possible including providing a wheelchair for my use and extending the checkout time when it was needed. Both of our rooms were beautifully furnished with just the right combination of comfort and luxury! The central location was perfect as well. I would highly recommend this hotel!
